Job Description ---------------
The Department of Pediatrics seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Health System Clinician at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor for the role of Attending Physician in the Division of Allergy & Clinical Immunology.
Responsibilities ----------------
Qualified candidates will possess a DO or MD degree, be BC/BE in Pediatric Allergy & Immunology and a medical license, or eligibility for, in the State of Illinois. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
About the Division -----------------
The Division of allergy and Immunology currently includes 13 faculty members, 4 nurse practitioners, and 7 research staff (including 4 research nurses). The division provides both general allergy care, and also provides coordinated care for children with complex presentations of diseases including primary immunodeficiency, immune-rheumatology, immune-hematology, and participates in other multispecialty programs including DiGeorge clinic and the severe asthma clinic. Additionally, members of the division are actively involved in NIH funded research in asthma, food allergy and primary immunodeficiency. The Division of Allergy and Immunology also hosts a Jeffrey Modell Center for Primary Immunodeficiency.
