Join Our Team as a Physician

Our organization is excited to announce an opportunity for a Physician to become part of our team at Tufts Medical Center and Lowell General Hospital.

We invite applications from:

  • Sleep Medicine specialists looking for a primarily academic career focused on sleep.
  • Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine physicians who wish to engage in a role that integrates Sleep Medicine with Pulmonary and Critical Care practices.

This position offers a unique hybrid opportunity that combines academic medicine, inpatient care, teaching, research, and community-based clinical practice.

If your focus is on Sleep Medicine, you will be a vital part of our dynamic Sleep Medicine Team, which consists of five dedicated faculty members, one clinical sleep fellow, and a well-established sleep clinic and lab. You will work in our newly constructed, state-of-the-art six-bed sleep lab, fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

For those interested in a blend of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, we can tailor the clinical responsibilities based on your expertise and career aspirations, allowing you to contribute to all three areas, with a primary focus on sleep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to both inpatient and outpatient populations at Tufts Medical Center.
  • Provide community-based clinical services at Lowell General Hospital as part of an integrated role.
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of sleep medicine conditions.
  • Engage in academic activities and research related to Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care.
  • Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Support the mission of our organization through clinical excellence, education, research, and community involvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • M.D. degree from an accredited medical institution or equivalent.
  • Board eligible or certified in Sleep Medicine, with experience commensurate with your career level.
  • Candidates wishing to divide their time between Sleep and Pulmonary and Critical Care must be board certified/eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
  • Possess or be eligible for a valid Massachusetts Medical License.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional clinical care and a passion for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Commitment to the academic mission and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • A strong advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Interest in fostering collaborative and interdisciplinary work environments.
  • A team-oriented individual eager to work alongside a diverse range of stakeholders and disciplines to promote innovative research.
