The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include primary clinical care of pediatric orthopaedic patients with an opportunity for education and clinical research. Efforts will include time at the main campus of Ann & Robert H. Lurie' children's Hospital of Chicago plus ambulatory satellite clinic locations.
Qualified candidates will have their MD degree, board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and BC/BE fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, and experience or interest in neuromuscular orthopaedic surgery.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
The expected base pay range for this position is $500,000 to $815,000.
Lurie Children's Hospital and Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
