Are you an SLP who loves working with children but doesn’t necessarily want another full-time position?

Come spend a few afternoons each week with us at Now You’re Talking, LLC, a warm and growing private speech-language therapy practice serving children and families in Rockland County.

We are looking for a caring, energetic and dependable New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who wants to work two or more afternoons per week from approximately 3:30–7:00 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced SLP who works in a school, another clinical setting, or simply wants a smaller schedule while continuing to do meaningful work.

What You’ll Do

Provide individualized pediatric speech-language therapy in our private practice setting.

Depending upon your experience and interests, your caseload may include children with:

• Articulation and phonological disorders
• Receptive and expressive language disorders
• Social communication needs
• Developmental communication delays
• Feeding and oral-motor needs
• Orofacial myofunctional disorders

You will complete appropriate clinical documentation, communicate with families regarding progress and home carryover, and collaborate with other professionals when appropriate.

Schedule

3:30 PM–7:00 PM Minimum of 2 afternoons per week

Additional hours may be available for the right clinician.

We particularly value applicants who can commit to a consistent afternoon schedule so that our children and families have continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current New York State SLP license
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Feeding and/or orofacial myofunctional experience is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish-English SLPs are strongly encouraged to apply
• Most importantly: a clinician who genuinely enjoys children and wants to make a difference

Compensation

$45–$60 per clinical hour, based upon experience and specialized skills.
