Description
Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. Compensation:
$110,000 - $150,000+ salary & bonuses based upon experience
Responsibilities:
Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years
Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
Attorneys should be active members of their local bar association.
The attorney will be responsible from the client intake to the completion of the case.
New graduates will be considered, but courtroom experience is preferred.
The ability to work independently, with excellent communication and record-keeping skills, is important for this position.
