Job Details
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of business and commercial litigation matters.
Represent clients in contract disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts, business tort claims, fiduciary duty matters, and other complex commercial disputes.
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies aligned with client objectives.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
Take and defend depositions, participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
Prepare witnesses and clients for hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings.
Advocate for clients in court hearings, evidentiary proceedings, and trial.
Analyze legal and business issues to provide practical, strategic advice.
Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal representation.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar.
3+ years of business, commercial, or civil litigation experience preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery.
Deposition, mediation, arbitration, and courtroom experience preferred.
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills.
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and strategic thinking.
Self-motivated professional with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to excellence.
