Key Responsibilities:
Assist partner with pre-suit property insurance claims
Attend Department of Financial Services (DFS) mediations
Attend property inspections
Attend recorded statements
Negotiate and settle pre-suit claims with insurance adjusters
Provide regular client status updates and maintain client relationships
Attend and cover Examinations Under Oath (EUOs)
Handle occasional virtual court appearances as coverage for litigation attorneys
Assist with drafting Notices of Intent to Initiate Litigation (NOIs)
Review work product of pre-suit paralegals
Review settlement releases
Follow up with clients regarding execution of releases
