Job Details

Responsibilities
Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and administrative matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents
Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues and case law
Partner with clients and claims professionals to provide strategic legal guidance
Manage all phases of litigation, including investigations, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
Assess liability and damages exposure and develop effective defense strategies
Prepare witnesses, take and defend depositions, and attend court appearances
Maintain clear communication with clients regarding case developments and recommendations

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar
Experience handling litigation matters, preferably within insurance defense or civil litigation
Strong legal research, analytical, and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and commitment to client service
Strong work ethic and desire for continued professional growth
