Job Title: Litigation Attorney (Business Litigation)Compensation: $120,000- $170,000 DOEAbout the RoleA leading multi-specialty law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic and fast-paced business litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney looking for long-term professional growth within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex business litigation matters, with opportunities for advancement, including consideration for an expedited path to equity partnership based on experience and portable business.Key ResponsibilitiesCase ManagementManage a diverse caseload of business litigation matters, including breach of contract, corporate disputes, and other commercial issuesOversee matters from initial assessment through resolution, including trial and appeal where applicableLegal Research & StrategyConduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategiesProvide practical, business-focused legal advice to clientsLitigation & AdvocacyDraft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsPrepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsClient EngagementBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsProvide regular updates and strategic guidance on case progressWork closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staffMentor and support junior team members as neededQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in North Carolina (or ability to obtain promptly)Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, ideally within business or commercial litigationExperience in North Carolina Business Court and/or Federal Court strongly preferredProven ability to manage complex litigation matters independentlyPreferred ExperienceExperience handling high-value or complex commercial disputesDemonstrated interest in long-term growth and partnership track opportunitiesStrong collaboration and teamwork skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with legal research tools and litigation support softwareStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective negotiation and conflict resolution abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and manage a high-volume caseloadWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based bonusesClear pathway for professional development and advancementPotential for expedited equity partnership (based on experience and book of business)Collaborative, team-oriented work environmentFlexible/hybrid working optionsAbout the FirmThe Firm are a multi-specialty, full-service law firm focused on advising closely held businesses and business owners.
