QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor's Degree required.

·         Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

·         5-10 years of experience handling complex commercial civil litigation.

·         Experience with construction litigation, insurance claims, or related legal matters preferred.

·         Licensed attorney eligible to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

·         Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.

·         Experience drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and appellate briefs.

·         Proven experience conducting and defending depositions.

·         Trial experience and courtroom litigation skills required.

·         Knowledge of construction disputes, schedule delays, disruption claims, and damages analysis.

·         Experience working with expert witnesses and forensic accounting professionals.

·         Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

·         Excellent negotiation, communication, and case management abilities.

·         Ability to manage complex cases and multiple priorities effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Handle all phases of complex commercial civil litigation involving construction-related matters.

·         Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, and appellate briefs.

·         Represent clients in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

·         Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, document requests, and other discovery matters.

·         Conduct and defend depositions.

·         Manage trial preparation and represent clients during court proceedings and trials.

·         Provide expertise in construction schedule delay and disruption analysis.

·         Evaluate and quantify labor productivity losses and project damages.

·         Perform forensic accounting analysis related to construction disputes and claims.

·         Develop and implement litigation and dispute resolution strategies.

·         Manage complex claims throughout the litigation process.

·         Coordinate and oversee expert witness engagements.

·         Advise clients on risk assessment, claim evaluation, and dispute resolution options.

·         Collaborate with clients, experts, and legal teams to achieve favorable outcomes.

·         Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal counsel.
