A nationally recognized litigation practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its intellectual property and litigation platform.

This is an opportunity for a patent litigator who wants to work on complex infringement disputes while taking meaningful responsibility rather than remaining on the sidelines.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll work across the litigation lifecycle, including:
• Representing clients in complex patent infringement disputes
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and claim construction materials
• Conducting legal and technical research
• Developing strategies involving infringement, validity, enforceability, and damages
• Managing discovery, document review, and production
• Taking and participating in depositions
• Handling expert discovery and coordinating with technical experts
• Assisting with Markman hearings and IPR proceedings
• Working on dispositive motions, trial preparation, and appeals
• Collaborating directly with clients, inventors, experts, and litigation teams

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of patent litigation experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar admission
• Strong patent infringement litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage cases
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Meaningful deposition and court appearance experience
• Technical fluency
• Experience with Markman hearings, IPRs, dispositive motions, or trial preparation is preferred

The Environment

• The schedule is generally 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, with some flexibility.

Compensation & Benefits

• BASE COMPENSATION RANGE - $225,000 to $265,000 with performance bonus eligibility and structured bonus thresholds at 1920 and 2100 hours.
