Senior Associate Attorney – Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation
A confidential plaintiff personal injury practice in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to handle sophisticated litigation involving serious injury matters from inception through settlement or trial.
This position offers meaningful responsibility for attorneys who enjoy strategic litigation, direct client interaction, and courtroom advocacy while working alongside an experienced and collaborative legal team.
Responsibilities
Manage personal injury cases throughout the litigation process
Investigate liability, damages, and supporting evidence
Review and evaluate medical records and treatment
Maintain ongoing client communication regarding case strategy and progress
Draft demand packages and negotiate settlements
Prepare complaints, pleadings, and litigation documents
Draft and respond to written discovery
Take and defend depositions
Prepare and argue motions
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Work collaboratively with attorneys and litigation support staff
Perform additional operational and administrative responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
Active California Bar license in good standing
Plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
Trial experience preferred, including first or second chair experience; significant trial preparation experience will also be considered
Strong legal writing and analytical abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and time management
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Professional demeanor with a collaborative work style
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $275,000, depending on experience
