Job Details

Responsibilities
Independently manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake and evaluation through settlement or trial.
Develop and execute case strategies based on the specific facts, legal issues, and objectives of each matter.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, briefs, and other legal documents.
Take and defend depositions and represent clients in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and related proceedings.
Negotiate effectively with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments, litigation strategy, and expectations.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and timely progression of matters.
Evaluate liability, damages, medical records, expert reports, and other evidence to determine case value and litigation strategy.
Monitor developments in personal injury law, court procedures, and litigation best practices.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active New Jersey Bar admission in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience.
Demonstrated experience independently managing personal injury cases through various stages of litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
