Attorney | Professional Liability Litigation | Hybrid | 148950

A Chicago-based litigation practice is expanding its Construction and Design Professional Liability team and is seeking attorneys interested in handling sophisticated construction and professional liability litigation.

Candidates with 5+ years of civil litigation experience are preferred, although attorneys with approximately 3+ years of highly relevant construction litigation or architects and engineers' professional liability experience are encouraged to apply.

This position offers the opportunity to manage meaningful litigation work while collaborating with experienced attorneys on complex matters involving construction disputes and professional liability claims.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience in construction litigation and/or professional liability defense.
• Professional liability defense experience involving architects and engineers preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing significant responsibility.
• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary ranging from $115,000 to $200,000+, depending on experience.
