What We're Looking For
· 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably involving real estate matters.
· Ability to independently manage matters from inception through conclusion.
Admission to the New York State Bar (Federal Court admission preferred).
· Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
· Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
· A self-motivated professional with sound judgment, initiative, and a commitment to excellent client service.
What You'll Do
· Handle a broad range of real estate litigation matters, including commercial and residential property disputes, contract disputes, easement and boundary issues, landlord-tenant litigation, title disputes and quiet title actions, construction-related litigation, and foreclosure and creditor matters.
· Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys.
· Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery documents.
· Manage all aspects of discovery, including electronic discovery.
· Take and defend depositions.
· Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences in New York State and federal courts.
· Counsel clients through complex legal and business issues.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Work collaboratively across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions.
