We’re looking for an experienced, strategic Legal Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring for attorneys and legal support staff across the firm. This person will partner closely with hiring managers, offering guidance on hiring strategy, market insights, and candidate selection, while ensuring a smooth, high-quality recruiting experience.

Candidate Profile

  • MUST have attorney recruiting experience
  • 5+ years of recruiting overall, with at least 3 years focused on legal attorney recruiting
  • Strong preference for in-house law firm experience, but open to agency recruiters who actively support PI firms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but flexible for candidates with significant recruiting experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for attorneys and legal support roles (paralegals, case managers, legal assistants, etc.)
  • Partner with hiring managers to define needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess legal expertise, experience, and cultural fit
  • Review resumes, writing samples, and credentials (including bar status where applicable)
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across job boards, networks, referrals, and social media
  • Guide candidates through the interview process with clear, timely communication
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal teams
  • Lead offer development, negotiation, and closing
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, leadership, and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations and internal processes
  • Track activity in the ATS and maintain accurate recruiting data
  • Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity
  • Represent and promote the firm’s employer brand

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal recruiting experience, with a strong track record hiring attorneys and legal staff
  • Law firm recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience recruiting for plaintiff PI firms is a strong plus
  • Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
  • Experience with ATS platforms (ADP, Greenhouse, or similar) preferred
