We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public finance, bond counsel work, or related municipal law practice, and will be comfortable managing complex transactions from inception to closing. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with public sector clients, financial advisors, and underwriters on a variety of financing structures.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review financing documents, including bond resolutions, indentures, official statements, and closing documents
• Advise governmental clients on compliance with federal and state securities and tax laws
• Manage transactions from structuring through closing, coordinating with issuers, financial advisors, and other transaction participants
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on public finance and municipal law matters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and support staff

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing (MO)
• Experience in public finance, municipal law, or a related transactional practice
• Strong knowledge of federal tax and securities law as applied to municipal bonds preferred
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
• A collaborative mindset and strong client service orientation
