Attorney Position
We are seeking an attorney who can provide quality legal services to our large, diverse client base. Responsibilities
- Manage a docket and stay offensive with pre-litigation and litigation files
- Conduct depositions, mediations, trial prep, trial & hearings
- Handle motions and discovery
- Negotiate with the insurance adjuster and defense attorneys
- Draft motions and petitions
- Report on case pipeline and quarterly KPIs
- All attorneys are responsible for legal operations consistent with the firm's mission and values
- Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
- Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
- Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis
Qualifications

- Good standing with the State Bar of Texas

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary

- Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
- Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
