Attorney - Workers' Comp, PI Glen Allen, VA Full-Time On-Site

Established Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Plaintiff Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation in Richmond, VA

An established Virginia-based firm with over 100 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation experience to join its team in Richmond. This attorney will work on plaintiff-side injury matters and will handle litigation, negotiations, and client representation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations while advocating for injured clients.

Qualifications:

  • Possess 3-5+ years of plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation experience
  • Hold experience conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and preparing motions and pleadings
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Show the ability to manage cases in a fast-paced and technology-forward environment
  • Maintain active Virginia Bar membership in good standing

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution or trial
  • Conduct written discovery and take and defend depositions
  • Prepare motions, pleadings, and detailed case assessments
  • Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trial
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop evidence-driven case strategies
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure exceptional service throughout the duration of their cases
