XIn most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
5 years of experience with Android application development.
Experience working with embedded systems, or audio technologies.
Experience designing business system solutions and partnering with product owners and engineering implementation teams to prioritize requirements and define the delivery roadmap
Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
10 years of experience in delivering consumer electronics products, feature roadmaps, or audio technologies.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Specialization in Audio processing, system optimization, performance tuning and market delivery.
Embedded development with strong sense of engineering power, latency, performance tradeoffs.
Ability to navigate software stacks and frameworks, from embedded systems to higher level applications; connecting software stacks to deliver end-to-end user features.

We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world"s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
