Job Title: Audio Video Security Systems Technician 959
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90063
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Assignment type: Temporary - 12 months
w/ high chance of extension or hire
Pay rate: $35-$40/hour
Description:- Works under supervision to set up audio/video systems for meetings, press conferences, and special events.
- Lifts 1025+ lbs and regularly uses 6-foot+ ladders; performs bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
- Installs, configures, tests, maintains, and repairs audio, video, CCTV, security, access control, intercom, alarm, monitoring, and teleconferencing systems.
- Supports systems including cameras, monitors, DVRs, codecs, video displays, audio mixers, servers, and related software.
- Coordinates with other trades and crafts as needed.
- Provides technical support for equipment moves, additions, and modifications.
- Installs/removes cables and infrastructure, including wire management systems, patch panels, and jacks, per industry standards.
Qualifications:- Knowledge and experience with installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and customer support for audio, video, CCTV, security, and teleconferencing systems.
- 3+ years of related experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings.
- 1 year of experience at the journey level.
- High school diploma or GED.
