Position Overview<\/b>
<\/p>
Our client is seeking an experienced <\/span>AV Field Project Manager<\/b> <\/span>to oversee on -site audio -visual installations, manage field teams, and ensure project execution meets safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. This role requires both <\/span>hands -on technical expertise<\/b> <\/span>and strong <\/span>leadership skills<\/b>.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>- Supervise technicians and perform hands -on tasks in shop fabrication and on job sites. <\/span>
<\/li> - Lead and train field technicians on safety standards, AV installation best practices, and internal processes. <\/span>
<\/li> - Coordinate staffing and resources with the AV Project Manager to support installation plans. <\/span>
<\/li> - Verify technicians have required tools, equipment, materials, and PPE prior to work. <\/span>
<\/li> - Conduct site surveys, confirm trade work completion, and assess job site readiness. <\/span>
<\/li> - Facilitate installation kick -offs and lead crews according to project plans. <\/span>
<\/li> - Perform quality inspections throughout the installation process and at completion.
<\/li> - Provide technical guidance to field staff and subcontractors as needed.
<\/li> - Stay current with emerging AV technologies and participate in ongoing training.
<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3>
Minimum Qualifications<\/b>
<\/p>- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
<\/li> - 5+ years’ experience<\/b> <\/span>in commercial audio -visual systems and installations.
<\/li> - Strong understanding of AV infrastructure, blueprints, scopes of work, and technical documentation.
<\/li> - Experience with control systems (e.g., QSC, Logitech, Extron) and touch panel programming a plus.
<\/li> - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
<\/li> - Leadership and team -management experience.
<\/li> - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
<\/li> - OSHA certification (10 -hr or 30 -hr) and AV industry certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS -I) are a plus.
