Description
OfficePro Inc., a Washington DC-based technical training and recruiting company, is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Level 2 Audio Visual Field Service Technician. The selected candidate will work in partnership with our client to provide field service support for a high-profile client at on-site locations within the Metro area to restore functionality to their Audio-Visual assets while delivering best-in-class customer service.
Job Duties Include:
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system
Takes responsibility to accurately complete job documentation as needed
Field service support of control programs (AMX / Crestron) including minor edits, compiling upload, and downloading capability (can be with the aid of a programmer)
Field service support of networked devices (Routers IP Protocols etc.)
Perform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner, including but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projectors, and hanging ceiling mounts
Setup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing hardware
Clean/maintain various AV equipment including but not limited to camera lenses, monitors, and equipment fans.
Ability to solder & crimp connectors
Provide necessary training and support for next level service technicians
Provide end-user client training as needed
Adhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the job
Travel to various job sites required within the metro area applying for
Crestron Toolbox experience - Required for Level 2 / Basic understanding for Level 1
Other duties assigned as needed
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic understanding and compliance of OHSA Standards - OSHA Certification is a bonus or must be willing to obtain OSHA Certification
Must have a Valid Driver's License
Must have a clean driving history
All Candidates will be subjected to a background test and drug screen
