Important: This is commercial construction AV. You ll be working on permanent technology installations not live events, entertainment, or production AV.

What You ll Be Doing

As a Level II Commercial AV Technician, you ll work with experienced technicians and project leaders to install and support commercial AV systems. Your responsibilities may include:

• Install and terminate audio, video, AV, and control cabling

• Pull, identify, and label cables and wiring

• Install cable support structures and pathways

• Mount displays, speakers, cameras, and other AV equipment

• Assist with rack construction and system integration

• Perform basic AV installation, service, maintenance, and layout work

• Read blueprints and construction drawings to determine cable routes and device locations

• Assist with testing and troubleshooting installations

• Help maintain project documentation and as-built information

• Work alongside Lead Technicians and Project Managers

• Provide guidance to Helpers and less-experienced technicians when needed

What You Bring

We re looking for an AV technician who can work confidently on commercial construction projects and is ready for increased responsibility.

You should have:

• 2+ years of commercial AV, low-voltage, or structured cabling experience

• Hands-on experience working in commercial construction environments

• Experience installing and terminating AV cabling and equipment

• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and construction drawings

• Basic troubleshooting and testing skills

• Ability to work from ladders and lifts

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable transportation

• A dependable work ethic and commitment to quality

• A safety-first approach to the job
