Are you a qualified Audiologist eager to engage in a role focused on assessments? Do you find fulfillment in supporting the Veteran community? We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Veterans will submit their claims prior to your assessment. Their medical histories will be accessible through a digital portal, allowing you to review all relevant records during the appointment. You will administer both the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Additionally, you will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, which serves as the medical documentation necessary for the VA to determine the benefits for each veteran.
Please note that the Audiologist will not be responsible for prescribing any medical treatments or devices.
