Job Description

Are you a Licensed Audiologist eager to embrace a role focused on assessments?

Do you find fulfillment in supporting the Veteran community?

We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Veterans will submit their claims prior to your appointment. Their medical records will be accessible through a digital portal, allowing you to review them during the consultation. You will administer a Maryland CNC Test and a Puretone Audiometric test. The Audiologist will also fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, which serves as the medical documentation necessary for the VA to determine the veteran’s benefits.

Please note that the Audiologist will not be responsible for prescribing any medical treatments or devices.

This role typically involves reviewing and assessing an average of 3-6 Veterans each day.

Schedule

This is a FULL-TIME IN-PERSON position with a consistent schedule of 3 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Each patient will receive between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes of your time. There are no evening shifts, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales involved.

Requirements

We are looking for an Audiologist who meets the following criteria:

  • Possesses an Au.D. and has graduated from an ASHA-accredited institution.
  • Holds a valid Audiologist license.
Benefits
  • Malpractice insurance provided by our organization.
  • Health insurance options available.
  • Membership to ASHA Learning Pass for continuing education units (CEUs).

By submitting your application, you agree to the transmission of your information to the Employer by College Recruiter, acting as the data controller, through the Employer’s data processor.
