QUALIFICATIONS
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
  • Current unrestricted Audiologist license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with diagnostic audiology, hearing aid evaluations, and patient counseling.
  • Experience with vestibular testing, tinnitus management, cochlear implants, or ENT clinics is preferred.
  • Military, VA, or hospital experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
  • Conduct hearing assessments using standard diagnostic equipment and procedures.
  • Evaluate, fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
  • Provide counseling and education regarding hearing loss, tinnitus, hearing conservation, and communication strategies.
  • Perform vestibular evaluations and other specialized audiologic testing as appropriate.
  • Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, ENT specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain patient records in accordance with DHA, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and facility standards.
  • Participate in required orientation, annual training, and quality improvement activities.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
