How you'll make an impact in this role

Perform audiological and vestibular function testing; develop hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments.

  • Perform diagnostic testing to assess patient''s hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment.
  • Develop, document, implement and evaluates hearing correction plan.
  • Provide hearing device modifications.
  • Educate and counsel patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:

  • Audiologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain Audiologist (AY) credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

  • Audiologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Speech-Language Pathology Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain Audiologist (AY) credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctorate of Audiology (AudD) required.
