Carle Health is seeking Pediatric Audiologist to join the Expanding Children’s Hearing Opportunities (ECHO) program in Urbana, Illinois. The ECHO team includes professionals in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology, deaf education, and Otolaryngology, who work together to support children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. ECHO encompasses two programs; the Pediatric Hearing Center and the Carle Auditory Oral School. The ECHO program is unique in that it offers comprehensive services for children who are deaf and hard of hearing in a single, dedicated location. Founded in 1987, the ECHO program was the first cochlear implant program offered in the state of Illinois and has played a fundamental role in the field of pediatric hearing care Our Pediatric Audiologists provide a full range of comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation services, including diagnostic assessment, ABR testing, hearing aid and BAHS fitting, cochlear implant evaluation and programming, and CAPD assessment.
