Duties shall consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Technologists shall perform independent audiology examinations.
Shall perform otoscopic examinations and rotate as scheduled.
Shall conducts hearing tests in multi-person sound booth using DOEHRS-HC and rotate as scheduled to include sanitizing or disinfecting.
Shall restock supplies, maintain, clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments, equipment, and worksurfaces.
Shall complete daily function checks & biological calibrations.

Audiology Technician
Degree: Certificate
Education: Completion of an occupational hearing conservationists' course or training and certification obtained through the Army, Navy, or Air Force hearing programs.
Experience: Possess a minimum of one year experience within the last two years working as a full-time Audiology Technician.
Certification: Certification as a Hearing Conservationist by the Council of Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOCH) is highly desired but not required.
Additional Certification: Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or the American Red Cross. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross or other approved certifying body emblem. Web-based (on-line) classes are not acceptable by the Government.
