Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Audit and Compliance Manager for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). This role supports compliance, privacy, and data governance initiatives by implementing monitoring, classification, and regulatory controls across enterprise systems.

Rate Range: $58/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Audit and Compliance Manager Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement compliance and privacy controls to ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.

• Manage data classification, metadata governance, and data protection initiatives across enterprise environments.

• Monitor compliance risks and security events using tools such as Splunk and other monitoring platforms.

• Support cloud compliance operations within AWS environments, including control validation and remediation activities.

• Maintain compliance documentation, policies, procedures, and audit evidence using collaboration tools such as Confluence and Quip.

• Design and leverage AI-driven solutions and automation to improve day-to-day compliance monitoring and governance processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in compliance engineering, privacy, data governance, or a closely related discipline.

• Strong expertise with regulatory and audit frameworks such as PCI DSS, PCI PIN, NIST, and SOX, along with hands-on experience in data classification and metadata management.

• Experience with compliance monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, GitHub), AWS cloud environments, and the ability to leverage AI technologies to support compliance and privacy operations.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $60.00 per hour
