Summer Audit Interns will learn and participate in a variety of audit engagements for privately held corporations, governmental and not-for-profit entities. Sample industries in which interns may be engaged include governments, not-for-profits, associations, benefit plans, educational institutions and financial organizations.We seek bright and assertive individuals working toward a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting with the goal of attaining CPA certification. Candidates should possess at least 15 hours of accounting coursework prior to the start of the internship and be poised to complete their schooling the following spring. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred. Candidates must be computer savvy (Microsoft Office products), possess outstanding communication skills, and enjoy regular client interaction at various engagement locations. Travel during the internship is limited to Chicago metropolitan area.All candidates hired are subject to a pre-employment background check.
