Audit InternJob Summary:The Audit Intern performs and completes procedures on audit programs and prepares work papers to support tasks performed.Responsibilities:Compares data contained in a variety of financial records in order to detect trends, errors, anomalies or problems.Makes recommendations for improving internal controls.Completes required schedules, account analyses, worksheets, and projects.Prepares and presents written and oral reports.Performs other accounting and auditing duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisor.Maintains the confidentiality of the firm and its clients.Qualifications:Working towards obtaining or has recently obtained a Bachelor's degree in accountingProficient with Microsoft Office products, especially ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail-orientedStrong analytical ability and judgementAbility to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
