We are conducting a confidential search for an established, highly respected Tampa Bay CPA firm with a specialized practice serving charter and private schools, governmental entities, and nonprofit organizations.

What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate has:
Approximately 5–10+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including audit management responsibilities
Strong financial statement audit and assurance experience
Experience with governmental, nonprofit, educational, or compliance-related engagements
Knowledge of Single Audit, Yellow Book, or applicable Florida audit requirements—a significant advantage
Demonstrated ability to lead engagements, supervise professionals, and develop client relationships
CPA designation preferred
The desire and leadership potential to eventually become a partner
You do not need to have experience in every specialty listed above. We are interested in strong Audit Managers with transferable nonprofit, governmental, or assurance experience who are willing to expand their technical expertise.
Compensation and Flexibility
Base salary: $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience
Performance bonus and employee benefits
Full-time, W-2 employment
Hybrid schedule preferred for candidates residing in the Tampa Bay area
Remote employment may be considered for an exceptional candidate with highly relevant experience
Potential partnership opportunity in approximately 2–4 years, based on performance and mutual fit
