Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements
  • Review financial statements, workpapers, and complex accounting issues while managing engagement risk, timelines, and budgets
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact, building relationships, communicating findings, and delivering value-added insights
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, providing ongoing feedback and supporting performance management efforts
  • Work with tax specialist to oversee the preparation and/or review of business tax returns, assist with tax planning, and collaborate with tax specialists as needed
  • Identify opportunities to expand client services and support overall firm growth initiatives
  • Monitor engagement economics (billing, realization, time management) and contribute to operational improvements
  • Stay current on audit regulations, maintain CPA licensure, and uphold ethical and independence standards
What we’re looking for 
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in accounting 
  • CPA designation or other relevant professional certifications required
  • 8+ years’ experience in public accounting 
  • Experience managing audit engagements from start to finish
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proactive individual with ability to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Curiosity/eagerness to learn and to teach and share knowledge 
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Experience with CCH/Axcess Workflow, Document, Engagement (preferred)
