The Audit Manager is primarily responsible managing the completion of audit projects included in the rolling annual audit plan in line with professional and department standards, as well as assisting the Internal Audit Directors in the development of risk based audit plans, which are responsive to emerging risks. While primarily based in one audit office, the Audit Manager will be required to complete audit assignments in other regional locations.
Additionally, the Audit Manager is responsible for:
- Communicating audit findings and recommendations to improve the company’s internal control environment to business unit management
- Developing effective business relationships with key stakeholders
- Supervising audit staff and providing regular performance feedback
Requirements:
- 8 plus years of audit experience with a large multi-national, financial services or big 4 firm
- Strong knowledge and understanding of internal auditing standards and techniques
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or comparable business degree
- Professional designations/certifications, such as Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, etc.
