    Who: A seasoned public accounting professional with 5+ years of experience and a CPA license.What: Lead and review assurance engagements, manage scheduling, support staff development, and ensure compliance with quality and reporting standards.When: Full-time opportunity available now.Where: El Paso, TXWhy: To support firm growth, maintain high-quality deliverables, and advance into a leadership role.Office Environment: Collaborative, quality-focused, and committed to continuous development.Salary: Competitive, based on experience.Position Overview:The Assurance Manager will coordinate and oversee assurance engagements, ensure compliance with reporting and quality control requirements, research accounting issues, and help develop both staff and client relationships. This role plays a key part in monitoring engagement quality, supporting team performance, and helping expand service opportunities.Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule engagements to ensure timely completion.- Provide ongoing feedback to staff to support their learning and development.- Review full financial statements and disclosures for reporting compliance.- Review workpapers to ensure adherence to quality control standards.- Research complex accounting issues and provide practical solutions.- Plan and manage engagements from start to finish for smooth execution.- Develop expertise within assigned niche areas.- Assist in monitoring engagement quality and staff performance.- Maintain CPA license and required CPE hours.- Support Partners with special projects as needed.- Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.Qualifications:- CPA certification required.- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience, including 3 years as a senior/in-charge accountant.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strong decision-making abilities and initiative.- Ability to research and analyze technical accounting issues.- Highly organized with the ability to manage a substantial workload and prioritize effectively.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
