Audit Manager / CPA
Location: Upstate NY
Salary: 150k+ DOE
Full-Time | In-Office

A growing accounting firm is seeking a professional CPA with strong experience in financial statement auditing and client accounting services. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage client relationships, oversee staff, advise clients, and also be deeply involved in the day-to-day accounting and compliance work.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform financial statement audits
• Manage client accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting
• Lead and support a department/team staff
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and compliance matters
• Review financial records and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with setting up and maintaining accounting systems and ledgers
• Work directly with clients and provide professional guidance
• Ensure projects and deadlines are handled efficiently

Requirements:

• CPA required
• 4+ years of auditing and accounting experience
• Strong financial statement audit experience
• Managerial or leadership experience preferred
• Professional English communication skills
• Hands-on mentality with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage both staff and client relationships
