We're currently partnered with a growing public accounting firm in the Florissant, MO area that is looking to bring on an Audit Manager to help lead and rebuild its audit function.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants more than just running engagements—you'll play a key role in shaping, developing, and growing an audit department from the ground up.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and managing audit engagements from planning through completion
• Developing and implementing audit processes, procedures, and best practices
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Serving as a key advisor to clients on audit, financial reporting, and risk matters
• Recruiting, mentoring, and developing audit staff
• Collaborating with firm leadership to build and expand audit services
• Driving process improvement and innovation within the audit function

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of audit experience in public accounting
• At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage engagements
• CPA or Master's degree preferred 
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Compensation:

$110,000 – $140,000+ base + bonus potential
