Springborn Staffing is partnering with a respected public accounting firm in Southern Maine to hire an Audit Principal.

This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee complex audit engagements, mentor and develop professionals across the audit team, and work closely with firm leadership on practice growth and strategic initiatives. Compensation & Benefits

• $160,000 - $185,000 base salary

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through issuance
• Serve as a trusted advisor and key client relationship leader
• Review financial statements and audit deliverables
• Provide guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters
• Manage engagement staffing, budgets, and workflow
• Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives
• Support practice growth and client development efforts
