We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join the Affordable Housing Assurance practice in Atlanta, GA; Johns Creek, GA; Birmingham, AL; and Columbus, OH offices.ResponsibilitiesTake a lead role in engagement management through internal communication and tracking engagement statusReview engagement letters prepared by AssociatesReview confirmations (includes debt, syndicators, etc.)Communicate directly with clients regarding request lists and confirmationsReview or perform compliance testing for more difficult audits (HUD, RD, NFP)Prepare files for audit (bring in T/Bs, GLs, bank statements, and other supporting documents)Prepare 10%, contractor and owner certifications, and DCRsReview financial statement changes and draft AJEs, RJEs, ATBsReview or prepare final financial statements and lockdown filesActively participate in firm initiativesAct as a role model and mentor to Associates and internsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field2+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experiencePreferred/Desired QualificationsPrevious experience working in Affordable HousingMaster's degree in Accounting or equivalent fieldCPA or EA credentialingEEO StatementEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit‑based employer.
