Fast track to management - Paid overtime at time and one half - Reasonable work life balance - Hybrid work envirronmentSenior Auditors have demonstrated an ability to proficiently perform the functions of an experienced staff auditor. Senior auditors perform most work assigned with a minimum of assistance. They often supervise one or more staff and/or experienced staff auditors, instruct them in work to be performed, review the work done, and direct necessary revisions. Senior auditors are provided a variety of diversified auditing and accounting assignments under the supervision of different professionals. Assessment of performance is based their ability to effectively run engagements, supervise staff, and on the quality of work, application of auditing and accounting knowledge, and ability to complete assignments in a timely mannerResponsibilitiesPerforming audit or review procedures, or assisting in other projects, as assignedUnderstanding the client's business and industry and accounting and control systemsAssessing risks and evaluating the client's internal control structurePerforming and documenting analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issuesReviewing or drafting of financial statements and other client deliverablesDirecting, training, supervising and reviewing the work performed by staff and experienced staff auditorsBuilding and maintaining good client relationshipsBeing actively involved all phases of a client engagement, from planning to issuanceDemonstrating proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldAt least two years of experience in public accountingHolds a current and valid CPA's license, or is working toward obtaining the license by taking and passing the applicable state CPA examAbility to travel to assigned client locationsPossess thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards#J-18808-Ljbffr
