Job Details
Serve as an in-charge auditor on healthcare and not-for-profit audit engagements
Assist engagement Managers and Partners with audit planning, strategy development, and execution
Perform and supervise audit procedures from planning through wrap-up
Apply GAAP, GAAS, Uniform Guidance, and Yellow Book standards where applicable
Research complex accounting and auditing issues using firm-approved technical resources
Review internal controls and identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities
Develop management letter comments and audit findings
Perform risk assessment procedures and design audit approaches based on identified risks
Prepare financial statements, footnotes, reports, and client deliverables
Analyze financial results and industry trends to identify unusual fluctuations and risks
Manage engagement budgets, staffing, timelines, and deadlines
Review audit workpapers and provide detailed feedback to engagement teams
Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Staff and Intern-level auditors
Serve as a key client contact and develop strong client relationships
Participate in continuing professional education (CPE) and technical development programs
Travel locally to client sites as needed
