Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversees audit planning, field work, and reporting, communicating findings and recommendations
- Conducts audit and review engagements from start to finish
- Assesses compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial records
- Consults with clients on internal accounting related transactions as needed
- Recommends changes to management and accounting operations to improve compliance
- Provides strategic and tactical accounting advice to clients
- Reviews work product and performance of entry level staff
- Assists partners and managers on consulting engagements
- Builds job knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities
Qualifications
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification, or actively pursuing CPA
- Minimum 3+ years of current public accounting experience
- Proficiency with computerized accounting software and MS Office
- Strong client rapport and project management skills
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and coach new staff while managing multiple projects at once
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to break down complex financial information
