︎ Job DetailsJob Title: Audit StaffLocation: Los Angeles, CaliforniaWork Style: Hybrid/Remote *Occasional travel to client sites may be requiredEmployment Type: Full-Time, Non-ExemptSalary: DOE ($26-32 per hr.) + Full BenefitsLanguage: Japanese and English︎ Key Responsibilities:Record transactions, prepare trial balances, and generate financial statementsReconcile accounts and perform schedule computations (accruals, depreciation, etc.)Maintain general ledger and process AR/APPrepare consolidation packages and coordinate with tax preparersPerform audit and review proceduresPrepare payroll, sales tax, business license, personal property tax, and 1099 filingsSupport SOX/JSOX compliance and reporting to Japan HQAssist internal and external audit engagementsSupervise junior staff and support engagement planning/schedulingMaintain accurate time and expense entries for billing purposes︎ Required Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fieldReady and willing to work and learnCPA license or actively pursuing CPA certificationStrong Japanese proficiency, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with Japanese clients including expats and local employees and colleagues
