At CRI, #EverybodyCounts.Essential Functions Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under the direction of supervisor and managerParticipates in planning and scheduling client engagementsPrepares and indexes working papers; performs various procedures established under GAAP to verify accuracy and validity of client's financial mattersBegins to develop a command of GAAP, other comprehensive bases of accounting, unique or specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentationsObtains a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniquesEffectively communicates with client to receive information necessary to complete the engagement with a minimum of disruption to clientQualifications Meets all requirements to sit for the CPA examThose possessing CPA certification will be given preferenceMinimum of 5 years in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks as well as having in charged engagementsProficiency in accounting softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical abilitiesAbility to work well in a team environmentExperience in Government and Not-For-Profit industries is a plusApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
