Audit & Tax Associate

A stable and aggressive CPA firm in West Des Moines, Iowa is ready to add the next Associate to their team performing a mix of Audit & Tax functions.  Performance Expectations for the Audit/ Tax Associate:

• Prepare Tax Returns (Individuals, Businesses, Nonprofits, & Trusts)
• Audit fieldwork & prparation of reports
• Light tax review (Can be taught)
• Help train 1st year assoiciates and or Intern's
• Client communication

Experience/Qualifications for the Audit/ Tax Associate:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
• CPA Eligible
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience in Audit/Assurance & Tax is ideal!
• Must be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy season
• Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable learning new technology & AI software
