Description: Assisting with sound and lighting needs for auditorium performances, scheduling sound and lighting needs, training of student assistants, troubleshooting equipment and fulfilling housekeeping tasks in the auditorium control room.

Essential Tasks:

  1. Operates light and sound equipment for daytime, evening, and weekend programs.

  2. Assists the technology coordinator with scheduling and meeting sound, light, and

video needs of auditorium users.

  1. Assists with the design and implementation of sound and lights plans for

each performance or auditorium event.

  1. Assists with training student auditorium tech crew and oversee their work

assignments as directed by the technology coordinator.

  1. Reports and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.

  2. Arranges for and assists with changes in theater lighting.

  3. Fulfills housekeeping tasks in the auditorium control room.
