POSITION
UM Inpatient & Specialty
Position Type: Temporary
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Assignment Length: Approximately 6-Months, possibly Longer.
DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, UM Inpatient & Specialty - CCA, the Coordinator - UM Inpatient & Specialty - CCA is a high paced position that requires timely processing of Authorization requests, verifying eligibility, obtaining additional information as requested by the Integrated Transitional Care Nurse. This position requires that one be organized with the ability to multitask with a working knowledge of ICD 10, CPT coding and Medical Terminology.
REQUIREMENTS- Bilingual Spanish - written and verbal skills required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a data entry specialist. Experience with Commercial Plan Coverage required
Key Qualifications
- Requires knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes
- Knowledge of utilization management in a health care delivery setting preferred
- Managed Care or physician office a must
- Knowledge of Commercial Managed Care coverage required
