Job Summary

Crowley Auto Body is seeking an experienced Autobody Damage Appraiser / Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, writing detailed repair estimates, and coordinating with insurance partners and customers to ensure a smooth repair process.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can balance accuracy, speed, and customer communication in a fast-paced collision repair environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage
  • Write accurate and complete repair estimates using CCC ONE
  • Upload photos and documentation to insurance portals
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate and finalize repairs
  • Blueprint repairs to ensure complete and efficient production flow
  • Identify all damage (visible and hidden) prior to repair start
  • Coordinate with production manager and technicians on repair plans
  • Provide customers with repair updates and timelines
  • Ensure all work follows OEM procedures and DRP requirements
  • Monitor supplements and ensure proper documentation
  • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores

Requirements

Experience

  • 2+ years experience as an autobody estimator/appraiser (required)
  • DRP experience
  • Strong understanding of collision repair processes

Skills

  • Proficiency in estimating platforms (CCC ONE preferred)
  • Strong negotiation skills with insurance companies
  • Ability to blueprint and identify hidden damage
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management ability
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Certifications (Preferred)

  • I-CAR Platinum or ProLevel Certification
  • ASE Certification (B6 - Damage Analysis & Estimating)
